Welcome to Montreal's grass-roots, affordable analog recording studio.
We aim high, and wish to help you make some unforgettable hits.
So
many classic albums have been produced on 8-track tape machines.
To name a few, there's The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, The
Beatles' Abbey Road, and even Beck's Mellow Gold.
Come to Auroratone to create your own classic!
My approach emphasizes creativity, craft, mood, and fun.
Come and enjoy the informal (yet focused) atmosphere of my comfortable
record-making workshop. Enjoy the in-house selection of small tube
amps, drums, organ, clavinova, assorted percussion, toys, noise
makers, drum machines, samplers, junk, and more. Enjoy
a motivated engineer with a good pair of ears, and sights set on
a finished product. I'm also a solid utility musician, able to assist
on most instuments, if needed.
Happy to accommodate solo acts, duos, full bands, choirs, etc. We
just remodelled, and now have lots of isolation possibilites, spread
across three different rooms. Digital transfer of your master tracks
is available. Anything is possible!
